Toronto photo booth prices in 2026

A Toronto price guide last checked in September 2026 puts budget booths at $500 to $800 CAD for 2 to 3 hours, often with no attendant; standard packages at $800 to $1,500 CAD for 3 to 4 hours with an attendant, backdrop, props, unlimited prints and an online gallery; and premium mirror, glam or 360 booths at $1,500 to $3,000 CAD or more. Its publisher, Knipsmig, sells a do-it-yourself booth app.

Toronto booth companies' own price lists fit that range. Snaptique lists 3-hour starting rates from $695 CAD for a digital booth to $1,950 CAD for a trailer booth. PhotoboothTO lists starting prices of $499 CAD for a digital selfie station, $699 CAD for its Instapod or 360 video booth and $999 CAD for a magic mirror. Complete Weddings + Events puts staffed booths with prints at $600 to $1,800 CAD in its 2026 Toronto wedding cost guide.

These are starting prices, and most Toronto vendors add 13% HST.

What pushes a booth quote up

Two quotes for the same night can differ by hundreds of dollars. Most of the gap comes from a few things:

  • Hours. Packages are built around 3 or 4 hours, and each extra hour costs $125 to $250 CAD in Toronto; Snaptique lists $150 to $250 CAD depending on the booth.
  • Idle time. Hours during dinner are usually billed too, so ask about a split shift if you want the booth before and after the meal.
  • Booth type. Digital and open-air booths cost least; mirror, glam, 360, AI and trailer booths cost more. PhotoboothTO lists an AI booth from $1,499 CAD and a GlamBOT from $2,499 CAD.
  • Prints and design. Unlimited prints, custom print templates and a second attendant move a quote into the higher tiers.
  • Travel, tax and venue fees. Niagara and Muskoka venues add travel fees, HST goes on top of most quotes, and venue or parking fees push Toronto quotes toward the top of each range.

What an event photographer costs

A photographer covers the whole event, not one corner, which is why the price is higher. Bridebook's Canadian guide, updated in July 2026, puts under $2,000 CAD at up to four hours of coverage, $2,000 to $3,000 CAD at one photographer for six hours, and $3,000 to $6,000 CAD at up to two photographers for eight hours.

GTA listings line up with that. Mississauga studio mzPhotography lists packages from $1,500 CAD with six hours of coverage and a most popular package at $2,500 CAD, and Complete Weddings + Events puts typical Toronto wedding photography at $3,000 to $5,000 CAD.

Guest photo sharing does not replace a photographer. It adds the guests' view of the night.

What guest photo sharing costs

Self-serve photo sharing apps charge once per event, mostly in US dollars. Wedibox lists US$49 and US$79 plans and a free plan with 50 uploads, and Kululu's per-event plans were listed at US$39 and US$99 in an August 2026 third-party check. You print the QR codes, place them and run the slideshow yourself.

Oh Tap! Experiences puts a tap tile on the tables and a live photo wall on the venue screen; guests tap or scan to share, with no app. There are three packages, priced per event in CAD, all with unlimited photos and videos:

  • Moments, $149 CAD (birthdays, showers and smaller parties): set it up yourself in minutes; up to 10 tiles, tap or scan; unlimited photos and videos; live photo wall with reactions; Best Shots and AI captions; online for 3 months.
  • Celebration, $349 CAD (weddings, milestone birthdays and ceremonies): everything in Moments, plus we set it up, themed to your event; a tile on every table; face matching for every guest; video guestbook; your own slideshows and up to 3 albums; a printed photo book of the night; online for 12 months.
  • Showstopper, $749 CAD (big weddings, galas and company nights): everything in Celebration, plus print station with 150 instant prints; Go Live for guests who can’t be there; no Oh Tap! branding anywhere; two printed photo books; unlimited albums, online for 24 months; we’re on call during your event.

Which to choose

Pick by the job you want done:

  • Prints on the night and a staffed activity: a photo booth. Budget for the standard tier, plus HST and any extra hours.
  • The whole day covered by a professional: a photographer comes first, and nothing on this page replaces one.
  • Every guest's photos and videos in one place on a tight budget: a self-serve app that you set up.
  • Guests' photos on the big screen during the event, with tiles on the tables and setup handled for you: a live wall such as Oh Tap! Experiences, from $349 CAD for the package we set up for you.
