How does the Oh Tap! Smart Stand work?
Customers simply tap their smartphones on the Stand to leave a Google Review. Our Stand features encryption-enabled NFC technology. We use the same technology as Apple Pay or Google Pay. Tapping navigates the customer to your Google Review page on a Web browser.
We're a tool to help your customers leave reviews easier and optimize your online presence for maximum Google Reviews & SEO. We have no affiliation to Google.
Is it secure and safe to use? Are there any risks?
It's absolutely safe to use and carries no risk. All reviews acquired via the Stand are authentic, accepted by Google and will be immediately visible across Google Maps and Google Search.
All units feature password-based encryption technology. This means no one else can change the data programmed on the Stand.
Also, we don't program any sensitive information onto the Stand. Just a Website URL that takes customers to your Google Review page. The Stand does not require an internet connection and does not contain any geolocation technology.
Is there any set up required?
No setup is required. We make it easy to get started with our Stands. The hardest part is choosing where to put it (or just get multiple units!).
When checking out (before paying) make sure to provide your business Google Search or Google Maps link. Also include a form of contact so we can reach out if needed. We'll program the device for you before shipping so its ready to use as soon as you get it.
Alternatively, you can program it yourself. We made an easy to follow guide.
How many reviews will I get?
Tough question - we can't predict an exact amount but we can guarantee you this: You'll get more reviews with our Stands than you have without it.

Where should I place the Stand? Can I move it anywhere?
Place the Stand in a high-traffic location. Ideally after a "milestone" customer interaction for example the countertop of cash register or payment area. Find a spot where customers stay idle for a moment to increase chance of natural engagement. Or a spot where you interact with customers the most.
And yes! Our stands are completely portable, requiring no power source, cables or internet connection. Feel free to move it anywhere, anytime.

I have multiple locations, can I still use the Stand?
Yes, each unit can be programmed to a different location.
Provide all your location information during checkout if you'd like us to pre-program your Stand. Alternatively, see our setup guide to program it yourself.
Does it work with any smartphone?
Yes, the Stand is compatible with both Apple and Android phones.
Most phones after 2016 support NFC. For customers with older devices or NFC disabled (and can't enable it) we have a convenient QR code printed onto the Stand which can be scanned by all phones.
Tap or Scan, your customers can use what they prefer.
Are there any additional fees or subscriptions required?
The Stand is a one-time purchase. There are no additional fees or subscriptions required.
Our Google Reviews feature will always remain free to all Stands.
We'll be launching our entirely optional subscription-based feature suite to enhance the capabilities of your Stand beyond collecting reviews. Although we will be working hard to deliver new features to all Stands, our commitment remains to always support the one-time purchases.
